JLo’s First-Ever Egypt Concert Was Like No Other
In an event of extravagance, the sensational Jennifer Lopez performed in Egypt for the first time ever in front of 16,000 people. The much awaited concert certainly did not let anybody down. Venture Lifestyle, founded by Rabih Mockbel, managed to organize a remarkable event for Egypt that will definitely not be forgotten anytime soon. Aside from JLo’s exceptional performance, the whole concert experience was a blast for everyone who attended it.
Mockbel has been planning events in Lebanon for years before he had moved to Egypt. He has organized over 14 events this year including Solomun, Tyga, and Inna. Not to mention, the after-party of last year’s infamous Gouna Film Festival. This weekend, the groundbreaking event had multiple well-known sponsors including Uber, Mercedes Benz, Etisalat, O-West, and Nagwa Zahran.
We would be lying if we didn’t admit that JLo’s magnificent looks during her performance were extremely unforgettable. Designed by Egyptian fashion designer Nagwa Zahran, JLo’s looks were pure showstoppers. As the first-ever Egyptian designer to dress Jennifer Lopez, Zahran managed to design perfect fits and proved to the world that Egyptian craftsmanship is top-notch. She especially showcased that with her red dress masterpiece. The beautiful bedazzled costume got everyone obsessing over it. Zahran designed looks that not only fit a performer but also a birthday girl. The outfits were celebratory and fun in every way possible.
The venue was outdoors at New Alamein City’s Seacode Beach Club. The VIP section was completely sold out at the event. Crowds gathered hours before the event started and anticipated the big moment of JLo showing up. On the big screen before JLo came out to rock the stage, the audience enjoyed a video formed of little clips of all JLo’s most memorable moments. The venue had a huge birthday cake with the words “Happy Birthday Jennifer Lopez” written all over it.
The first song the superstar performed was her hit song “Medicine.” The crowd was mesmerized by JLo’s energy on stage. She had a very appealing stage presence. Alongside her phenomenal voice and dance moves, JLo spoke and engaged with her fans in a heartwarming way. The crowd sang to her “Happy Birthday” not only once but twice: at the beginning and at the end of the concert. Lopez wrapped her first concert in Egypt with another hit song, “On The Floor”.
