High-End vs Drugstore Makeup Products

If your guilty pleasure is splurging on luxury beauty items, then you’re preaching to the choir. Don’t you just love a gorgeous packaging? I know I do. I like to justify my splurging by telling myself that paying more money for a product will be worth it in the end. Although this is typically true, sometimes it isn’t worth the hype. A perfect look is what we all seek, so does the price tag or the name brand really matter if the application is flawless? I took this matter upon myself; to go and give different drugstore brands a chance, with matching high-end products to compare. I used the same way of application for both and used the same amount of product on each side of my face for 12 hours to test the difference by the end of the day. It was like an epiphany sent from the heavens. I realized that I didn’t have to spend so much money on high-end products when I saw for myself that the drugstore brands had nearly no difference. And if you saw me walking around, you wouldn’t know which side of my face was drugstore or high-end. I knew that when I saw all of my friends and they didn’t notice any difference. After seeing those surprising results, I would definitely recommend all the products that I tried to everyone who’s on a budget and still wants to achieve that flawless look. If you prefer to spend more on foundation then go for the high-end option. If you’d rather save money on mascara and eyeliner, then the drugstore option is the way to go. The best part? No one will be able to tell whether you went for the high-end option or the drugstore one. On the next couple of pages you will find the list of products that I tried and was more than happy with. I hope you find them as life-changing as I did.
