We can’t help but be inspired when we keep up with your lifestyle, what pushes you to reach your fitness and health goals everyday?
It's definitely not easy to stick to this demanding lifestyle. What pushes me to keep going is that flow of happiness that I get after every workout. And of course experiencing how amazing my body feels with the food its nourished with.
What kind of challenges did you face during postpartum and how did you overcome them?
I experienced all kinds of challenges. I was sleepless, exhausted, overwhelmed, and hurt from my C-section delivery. But despite everything, I was eager to be stronger than all of the challenges because I knew that if I didn't push myself to I would be miserable.
What kind of advice would you share with new mommies who are trying to get back in shape?
Take it one step at a time. Understand that your body just created a beautiful human being during the past 9 months so don't expect to feel good or look good right away. Breath, it does get better, not a lie.
Tell us more about your journey in fitness. Growing up, were you always this athletic?
I've always been into sports. I was on the national basketball team, but I was never that addicted. Actually, I wasn't even that good. Nonetheless, I've always been into being active, moving around, and being surrounded by the positive ambience of sports.
What’s it like to be a head coach at BeFit 360?
It's hectic, exhausting, and the best thing that happened to me. The rewarding feeling of changing people's lives is priceless.
In your opinion, what are the three main keys to a healthy nutritious diet?
Balance. Moderation. Understanding your body.
What are the biggest misconceptions most people have about losing weight?
There are tons! Mainly, the problem is that many people believe everything they read online and don't bother to doubt a certain trending diet. Most people think that if they starve themselves or do cardio everyday they will lose weight, but the complete opposite is what happens in reality.
What’s Rowana’s go-to Breakfast?
Eggs, avocados, along with baladi bread.
Can you tell us more about your nutrition programs?
That's my passion! I offer many programs catering to all people. What I can tell you is that each program is tailored to the client's specific needs and goals. My programs are very detail oriented to the individual's specific type, all while providing him or her with various healthy and yummy recipes.
